As we continue to shoot different events, we are lucky to be able to experience some of life’s greatest moments with our clients. As a photography couple, one of the most enjoyable events for us to shoot is weddings. The love present at a wedding is a moment to witness, and a moment we are lucky enough to capture for couples. Occasionally, we are lucky enough to witness forever. Recently we were asked to be the photographers for a wedding anniversary. Dale and Penny were kids when they were married; this year they celebrated 50 years of marriage together. Their two daughters-in-law and sons invited all of their family and friends to celebrate 50 years of a loving relationship. It was a beautiful party; it was obvious that the love Dale and Penny share is stronger now than it was on their wedding day.
According to Penny, love is not easy, it must be worked every day, but God was her secret to a long-lasting marriage.
A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.
For those who are wondering, yes she IS wearing her wedding dress at the party. I cannot think of any other proof of “Forever Love.”
